Sigenergy Battery Storage for Homes & Businesses
SigenStor combines a solar inverter, battery PCS, battery modules, energy management and optional EV DC charging in one modular platform. The SigenStor BAT 5.0 and BAT 8.0 provide 5.2kWh and 7.8kWh of usable energy per module, with compatible systems supporting one to six modules per controller.
Level Electrical + Solar sizes residential systems around solar exports, evening consumption, property phase, backup priorities and future loads. For businesses, SigenStack uses stackable 12kWh modules and requires project-specific analysis of interval data, demand charges, solar production and critical loads.

SigenStor Home Battery Systems
SigenStor combines the Energy Controller, battery PCS, modular battery packs, energy management and optional EV DC charging in one coordinated system. The BAT 5.0 and BAT 8.0 provide 5.2kWh and 7.8kWh of usable energy per module, with one to six modules supported per compatible controller.
We size the system from your solar exports, evening use, property phase, future loads and backup priorities. Backup performance also depends on the selected Energy Controller, Gateway, switchboard design and the appliances expected to operate during an outage.

SigenStack Commercial Battery Storage
SigenStack is a modular commercial battery energy storage system using stackable 12kWh battery modules. It can be designed for increased solar self-consumption, demand management, critical-load resilience and staged capacity expansion.
A commercial battery should be based on interval data and the site's real operating profile. Level Electrical + Solar reviews demand peaks, tariff structure, solar production, switchboard capacity, available space and required backup duration before developing a project-specific design.

- Stackable 12kWh battery modules
- Scalable commercial BESS architecture
- Pack-level safety management and IP66 protection
- Sigen Cloud monitoring
- Peak-demand and tariff analysis
- Critical-load backup planning where suitable
Battery Sizing, Backup & Installation Planning
Battery capacity alone does not determine what a system can run during an outage. Energy Controller output, property phase, the selected Gateway, motor starting loads, switchboard layout and backup-circuit design all affect performance.
We assess your electricity use, solar exports, existing equipment, installation location and future loads before recommending a SigenStor configuration. Commercial SigenStack projects also require interval-data analysis, network and switchboard review, operating-hour modelling and a project-specific backup strategy.

Choosing the Right Sigenergy System
SigenStor is suited to homes seeking modular solar storage, monitoring and backup options within one coordinated platform. SigenStack is a separate commercial solution for businesses that require load modelling, scalable capacity and a design based on actual site demand rather than a standard package.

Sigenergy Battery Installation Across the Gold Coast & Brisbane
Level Electrical + Solar installs residential SigenStor systems and designs commercial SigenStack projects throughout South East Queensland. Each system is assessed around the property phase, existing solar, switchboard, cable routes, installation location, backup loads and expected energy use.
We can also explain the practical differences between battery capacity and backup power, whether existing equipment can be retained, and which photographs or electricity data will help us prepare an accurate assessment.
Sigenergy Battery FAQs
SigenStor may suit homes that want modular LFP storage, integrated monitoring, compatible backup equipment and optional EV DC charging within one platform. The appropriate system still depends on your existing solar, property phase, evening consumption, switchboard and backup expectations.
The BAT 5.0 provides 5.2kWh of usable energy and the BAT 8.0 provides 7.8kWh under Sigenergy’s stated test conditions. Compatible controllers can support one to six modules. The final combination must match the Energy Controller, phase, required output and installation design.
Often, but the design depends on the existing inverter, solar array, metering, property phase and whether you want backup or EV integration. Some installations may retain parts of the existing system, while others may be better suited to a new integrated controller arrangement.
A compatible SigenStor and Gateway system can support backup, but whole-home backup is not automatic. The Energy Controller output, Gateway model, property phase, switchboard, air conditioners, pumps and other high-starting loads must be checked before deciding between selected circuits and broader backup.
SigenStor is modular and compatible controllers can support up to six battery modules. Expansion must follow Sigenergy’s compatibility, battery-mixing, commissioning and installation requirements, so likely future consumption should be considered in the original design.
The optional module is available in 12.5kW and 25kW versions and connects to a compatible Sigen Energy Controller. It can coordinate solar, battery and grid energy for charging. CCS2 vehicle compatibility must be confirmed, and V2X functions depend on the vehicle, applicable standards and supported software.
No. Commercial storage only makes sense when the site’s interval data, tariff, solar production, peak demand or continuity requirements support the investment. SigenStack uses modular 12kWh battery packs, but capacity and inverter selection require project-specific engineering and network assessment.
Sigenergy’s current Australia and New Zealand limited warranty lists ten years for the Sigen Battery and Energy Controller and three years for the EV DC Charging Module. Battery performance coverage is based on at least 70% retained usable energy for ten years or the specified minimum throughput, whichever occurs first, subject to the complete terms and connectivity requirements.
Pricing depends on the battery modules, Energy Controller, Gateway and backup scope, existing solar equipment, property phase, switchboard condition, cable routes and installation location. Your electricity bill, inverter details and photographs of the switchboard and proposed location can help with the assessment after our initial contact.
Sigenergy lists IP66 protection and floor-standing or wall-mounted options for the battery modules. The final position must also comply with manufacturer instructions, electrical rules, clearances, ventilation, structural requirements and site access considerations.
Yes. Eligible homeowners may be able to access battery rebates or incentives that help reduce the upfront cost of installing a solar battery system. Rebate availability, eligibility and discount amounts can change depending on the program, battery size, installation date and government requirements. Level Electrical + Solar can help you understand what may apply to your battery installation. You can also learn more on our battery rebates page.
